Why do I need a VPN?

A VPN creates a protected connection between your device and the VPN server. It helps protect your traffic on public Wi-Fi, reduces how visible your activity is on the local network, and opens services that your network restricts. A VPN doesn’t make a person anonymous in every situation: the sites you sign in to and their own rules still matter.

What is the official Avocado VPN website?

avocadovpn.net. We issue subscriptions only here, in the account at app.avocadovpn.net and in the Telegram bot @avocadovpn_netbot. We have no separate “Avocado VPN” apps in Google Play or the App Store: the subscription works in the Happ, INCY and v2rayTun apps.

Where do I get an Avocado VPN key?

The key is your subscription link, sometimes called a configuration. It appears in your account at app.avocadovpn.net right after payment or the trial: press “Connect a device” and add the key to the app with one tap. The key is also in the Telegram bot @avocadovpn_netbot. The key is personal: don’t take “free Avocado keys” from other sites — only we issue them.

Why not just use a free VPN?

A free VPN isn’t always dangerous, but it’s worth understanding how it makes money — ads, analytics, or selling data to partners; others cap speed, traffic or server choice. Can I connect several devices on one subscription?

Yes. Start includes 2 devices and 100 GB of traffic a month. Pro includes 5 devices and unlimited traffic; you can extend the limit to 10 devices for 50 ₽ per extra device. The limit applies to devices, not people.

Is it legal to use a VPN?

VPN rules differ by country and can change. Check local laws before traveling and follow the rules of the country, network and services you use. Avocado isn’t meant to break the law or bypass restrictions set specifically for a user.

Which devices does Avocado VPN work on?

iPhone and iPad, Android phones and tablets, Windows computers and laptops, Mac and MacBook, Linux, and TVs with Android TV or Apple TV. The Happ app works on all of them: your account links to where to download it and shows instructions for your system. On iPhone, iPad and Mac you can also use INCY, and on iPhone and Android — v2rayTun. You add the subscription to the app with a link, once.

What if the VPN won’t connect?

Refresh the subscription in the app and try another available connection. If that doesn’t help, message support: mention your device, app, carrier and the error text — it helps us find the issue faster.

Can I use torrents?

Please don’t run torrent clients through the VPN: that load can noticeably slow the server down for other users. If you need a .torrent file, download it, then run the torrent client with the VPN off. Don’t distribute copyrighted material without the rights holder’s permission.
